One of the greatest albums ever made is a compilation of demos recorded between 1971 and 1973 and eventually belatedly released as as album in 1976.
By this time, frontman and songwriter Jonathan Richman had decided to change his musical style, so the album was never followed-up.
A massive influence on punk rock and indie, it includes 6 tracks produced by John Cale and the classics “Pablo Picasso” and “Roadrunner”.
