This slice of Louisiana deep southern soul has taken on a life of its own since Dave Godin included it on his “Deep Soul Treasures” CD, and the single has shot up to well over three figures. In 2021 the song is the subject of a cover version by the-name-to-drop Lady Blackbird and we felt it was about time that it was reissued in its original format.
